Impact

'Impact' is very important to us: it tells us whether we are changing the world!

More specifically, it allows us to determine whether we are actually benefiting our target populations and how effectively and efficiently we are doing so. There are many facets to these criteria.

One is beneficiary-centric: how much do our beneficiaries really get out of our programmes, with what inputs, and how long do the benefits last? The Foundation has started developping evaluation systems to monitor these key metrics of meaningful development work.

Another perspective on our 'impact' is internal: given the objectives we set ourselves, have we provided the anticipated outputs, on time and within budget? So far, we are on target.

A third understanding of effectiveness and efficiency is donor-centric: do the results match up to our donors' expectations? Are we keeping our donors sufficiently well-informed? Are we building a trusting relationship? To all these questions, we strive to work to the highest standards. In particular, our virtual structure and volunteer-base allow us to keep overheads extremely low so that, effectively, your donations effectively go straight to the field.

We hope that these pages will contribute towards a closer relationship. Thank you for your ongoing support.
