There are many ways in which you can support our work, for example by spreading the word, making a donation, fundraising or volunteering. 

We currently have two areas of priority:

To develop the ECP (please see the ECP Pilot page for further information): we would be grateful to hear from people interested in volunteering to facilitate our ECP courses, of about six weeks in duration.

To build up the collection of books in our pilot library in Salamieh, Syria (please see the LDP Pilot page for further information): we would be grateful to hear from people in or connected with the freight industry, e.g. shipping or air cargo, or from private donors who would be willing to fund the transportation of books; this can range from posting a couple of books to putting together a container.

Alternatively, if you are travelling and would be willing to take some of our books with you, in particular if you are going to Syria, that would also be very helpful: we rely on private individuals to get our books and other materials across from one end of the globe to another, if need be after making several stops. This allows us to direct funds to field work rather than transport, and puts your spare luggage allowance to charitable use.

You can further our cause by posting links to our website and/or facebook Page, or by organising a fundraising event.

 

If our work is relevant to your PhD thesis or research work you are currently undertaking, then we may be able to provide you with empirical data. Conversely, if you are interested in researching areas relevant to our programmatic activity, we would love to hear from you.
